Sounds like a good idea to me. At least someone is taking a stand on morality. Too bad others are too depraved to follow.

The retailer said it made the move because the books - including works by Gore Vidal, EM Forster and Annie Proulx - contained 'adult material'.

The retailer allegedly decided to drop thousands of adult books to make rankings more family-friendly. Removal means books won't be recommended or appear in charts, factors which hit sales.

As well as gay titles, it apparently dropped other books - such as The New Joy Of Sex - because of sexual content.
