I wonder where the economist thinks people will stashed the food they hoarde if they stop paying a mortgage, since the bank wil take the whole thing.
Actually I keep finding lots of the negative clips and no one seems to see the bright side - there is a bright side. For too long the economy has been driven upward Falsely, but everyone wanting more "stuff" and willing to work as many jobs as needed to get and try to afford the "stuff" they think they needed.
It really made lots of money for China and others willing to push their workers to serve all the consumers here. It alllowed everyone to have both parents working and kids left home to do what ever (school shootings, teen pregnancy,...

So the bright side of all this is maybe people will realize that big houses that need lots of heat/cooling, energy, taxes, etc. and all the expensive cars, etc. are really not worth sacrificing ones time with their family, kids, etc. Perhaps it is just a wakeup call also for people to realize that we really need to look at what our economy needs to start outputing, instead of just consuming. Perhaps looking at better ways to build homes, rathehr then bigger ways to build. Looking at vehicles with better gas mileage rather then bigger price tags.
While there is lots of doom and gloom out there, I have clipped enough of it in the last week. There is much too look forward too.

Perhaps the guy on the radio should have also told people not to hoarde too much food - considering the US has the biggest obesity problem as well - next to the UK.
