En las primeras visitas al sitio surgió, de forma casi inmediata, la idea de un cuerpo recostado sobre la pendiente y orientado en forma opuesta a la dirección en que se llega, que aislase de los vecinos la vida en la casa y que condujera las vistas desde el interior hacia el valle. La belleza del terreno determinaría el proyecto, y la casa crearía una relación íntima con el suelo, con su forma y su materia, al punto de transformarse la propia casa en terreno, sobre el cual se caminase también.
