That may be so, but I don't see that as 'faith in atheïsm'.
This quote by Isaac phrases it quite accurately in my view (which is why I think it was clipworthy): I am a creature of emotion as well as reason; and emotionally I may be an atheïst; but I do not think that it should be intellectually unrespectable to state that one is an atheïst and not an agnost.

Furthermore, and as a sidenote; I think Isaac Asimov is a brilliant writer. And I think he's not only brilliant in the area of (science) fiction, but also in quite diverse areas; especially the free-thinking, scientific and skeptic domain.

You may not see it as a faith, but to speak as an atheist with such certainty requires the knowledge of God.
