The patients might have heaved a sigh a relief after a legal step was taken in their favour,which would help them to get abetter treatment in the private ward,which will be much better than their expectations

I'm afraid this is just a stick to beat the Tories with when they win the next election. They cannot afford to retain it, nor could Labour but they know they will lose. Why did they not introduce this over the last 12 years?

A couple of months ago the government also removed most targets from the NHS and propose to make them legal rights eg to see a cancer specialist in a fortnight! Another poison pill for the Tories i'm afraid...
