yep. quite shocking. it is probably the only land on this planet where a group of fellow humans did not meet (yet) the so called white man !! or better say, did not encounter (yet) with the cell phone ring tone !!
which in this case, i consider them sheerly lucky ....

This kind of identity rediscovery has already happened in USA, where to be First Nation descended now means instant street cred, as well as bringing - um - 'certain advantages'.... Plenty people with dubious claims to native ancestry playing the system, therfore, but also maybe helping bring necessary respect? Bring it on, Brasileiros...
