deb2012 says: It is a bipartisan plan though, now isn't it? Wow. The characterization of low wage workers was lovely. People like my dad who had schizophrenia, died young due to lack of health health insurance, but who worked hard as a janitor and Walmart employee, deserve the extra pile-on from the writer of this piece, since life has already been so fair to them. His volunteering for war duty during Vietnam further shows his laziness. Classy maybe your dad would be one who walked by the stadium, or sat in the $25 seats-he is definitately not in the category described as lazy and un-ambitious, although there are some people in our country who fit this description by not being educated enough to hold down a decent paying job, relinquishing themselves to a life of dependence. Americans should be more pro-active in solving THAT issue. Although I can't speak for the author, I doubt the wording of his analogy was meant to include your father or anyone with any similarities to him. We are blessed to have so many in this country who work hard and sacrifice so much, although I wish we would value that ethic more. (not via unbalanced and unproductive tax rebates, however) lol, definitately = definitely, oops! |
