Socratoad
This poem is by the British humourist and poet Thomas Hood
(1799-1845) who waxed most eloquently on the month of
November and all that is wrong with it, in his poem called,
simply, “No!”

November is almost as bad as February.

In retrospect I prefer February to November, because at least one has the increasingly longer daylight hours, plus glorious spring is rapidly approaching

That's a good point, Socratoad. I begin telling myself that the days are getting longer starting every December 22nd.

Oh Sydney, I'll miss you this time next week when i'll have moved back to Germany.
Choosing mid-November as a date to move to the northern hemisphere: Epic Fail!

I don't know that you would enjoy the weather here currently. We are moving into summer and the rains usually don't start until January. Though, there are odd showers like the other evening. As the clouds are getting more saturated the air becomes more humid. And we all complain - even though it only lasts a few weeks.
