zenu1luv says: I find stuff like this so intriguing! Me too! Me three! Very cool, great find. This is very open to interpretation. While I think it's pretty cool, I still don't believe in ET. Looking at the VAST DISTANCES of the galaxy it just makes no sense that aliens would be interested in our tiny little planet or our insignificant little underdeveloped society. While aliens from another world are extremely unlikely I can entertain the idea of time travelers from our own planet. I can fathom time travel being possible in 250,000 years and the 'people' being 'different' from us physically and mentally. Just look back 250,000 years and imagine what ancient humans would think of us and our devices and appearance. Not only would our bodies appear strange our clothes and mannerisms ... Looking at the VAST DISTANCES of the galaxy it just makes no sense that aliens would be interested in our tiny little planet or our insignificant little underdeveloped society.I don't agree. Just look at ourselves? Aren't WE extremely preoccupied with finding other planets with life, no matter how "insignificant" or underdeveloped those lifeforms may? (SETI, Mission to Mars, etc) Can we not expect, they possible aliens would be just as curious as us, to know if they are alone in the universe? Also, with the fabulous advances being made in String and Quantum theory (esp quantum gravity), the idea of time travel (or wormholes) is no longer quite so unthinkable as some may thin... One of the issues I have with people and aliens is that people tend to give aliens our own features and processes. Who could even guess what would drive an alien race. Why would anyone ever think they would be curious? I do believe there are many alien cultures in the universe but I don't believe they would pick our planet. Especially back when there were no patterned emissions coming from it. Time travel just makes much more sense when you consider our nature of curiosity and drive to science. We have a need for history and exploration. Who is to say alien cultures that are capable of space flight or dimensional manipulation are not doing so just because they ran out of room. Since there ... If I'm remembering what I read correctly, many of the descriptions of 'angels' could fit what we would define as 'aliens'. I think I also recall something about a saint, or angel, someone special, traveling in 'flaming wheels'. You're absolutely right Mind Sharp. In fact, through the annals of time, many many different religions and people's from every corner of the planet, have had some mention of things that could be interpreted as being UFO's or aliens. (Watch the video above: UFO Ancient Aliens for some good examples.) A lot of different things in the Bible could in fact be interpreted as being UFO's if one was so inclined too. Here's a video that looks at the Bible through that perspective and it's pretty interesting: UFO's in the Bible Hey Zenu1luv, If you want something intriguing, look up on google the "Brotherhood of Death" Pretty interesting. All 'what ifs' until one lands and greets us. andyouare... It's really interesting to google "brotherhood of death" at 1 in the morning with Nine Inch Nails playing on my ipod. That's some weird sh!t going on there. skwirlinator... I've often wondered why that hasn't happened already, with all the sightings and abductions that are reported. |
