Interestingly, this morning on the program "The View," Sherri Shepherd said, (paraphrased a little) "I'm voting for Hillary because she is a woman, but, if she were a man, I would vote for Obama, because he is black."

Whoopi respond, "That's OK, because there are people out there that vote just like that."

makes me glad we vote for politcal party's not the leader of that party.
not saything that doesn;'t bear relevance but it's far more reliant on the policys rather than the people here (or at least it should be)

I'm not sure if any of you have thought of this, (I do because I'm black), but if Obama gets elected... and then gets assassinated... what happens to our inner cities?

I know people will go stark raving berserk, and we'd have THREE wars on our hands! It would get very ugly very quickly.

Just food for thought.

As a voting black woman, I loved this clip! Its funny, in a way, how the media (both liberal and conservative) have to make issues out of things that are really non-issues (race/gender) in the grand scheme of things. And truthfully, its demeaning, both to the candidates themselves and the voters. So what am I supposed to do as a voter? What is I gon' do?! I'm so confused! Lol!

And as for Sherri Shepard...I think she the biggest idiot on daytime television.

And as for Obama getting assassinated if he becomes president...I've heard black people discussing that and saying that they wouldn't vote for him out of some sort of "protection" against him. I think that's an illogical way of thinking....

I've haven't heard anyone, (as of yet, anyway), say they wouldn't vote for him because of any fear of assassination, but only that the likelihood seems greater.

You're right though, it's the chance they all take; it comes with the territory.

But I'm not so much concerned with his life as the life of the country afterwards.
