So, what you 3 are alluding to is that you actually believe Obama's claim that filling up our tires is equivalent to offshore drilling? Aren't you even a bit curious about the facts? I know that's a rhetorical question. Libs never confuse the issue with fact.

First off, we are not alluding to that. What Obama is saying that checking your tire is a good way to save fuel. As for drilling, that dog won't hunt for multiple reasons. Third, considering the last 8 fact free years, the Republicans can't say zip about confusing issues with facts.

Actually, that's not what he said. But I know that you're probably not interested in the actual claim which indeed was that properly filling your tires and getting tune-ups would save as much oil as drilling offshore would. So he sensationalized a bit. Why can't libs just admit that?

Willies clips are so fact free, your brain can starve to death reading them.

Properly inflated tires are safer and last longer.

And who uses these numbers?

The best estimate available, by the National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration, is that at least a quarter of drivers are cruising
around on under-inflated tires. In April, the Rubber Manufacturers
Association, the Auto Club, the California Highway Patrol and Yokohama
Tire Company used those statistics, along with Department of
Transportation and Automobile Association of America data, to
extrapolate that 2.8-billion gallons of gas are lost every year due to
under-inflation of tires.

Oh good grief, Esundby! Again, it's just plain common sense that properly inflating your tires saves on gas mileage. You have been watching too much Faux News.

Thus proving Obama's point. If you don't want to get shot, don't point the gun at your own head!
