Now her campaign manager has put out a statement saying this is "absolutely 100 percent false."

I think she was ready to concede, but SHE wanted to say it tonight. The early leak took away that element of her wanting to officially wait until the primaries were over and the votes tallied. It was a timing thing, IMHO.
