jamesgrimes says: Someone in a chatroom named Jessica B has gotten the US state of Georgia confused with the country of Georgia! Priceless government education at work! This has already been debunked. sahara, who? why did they do it? When I saw this about a week ago, I looked on yahoo answers, there was a site administrator page that explained it. I almost clipped it at first also, but I usually do try to fact check if things are legit or a joke, hoax, fake news, etc. and was led to that page, which for the life of me, I cannot find now on yahoo answers! There have also been many copycats posting the same or very similar questions to be funny. I thought it sadly funny at first myself, I was relieved however to hear that it was not real. It hasn't shown up on snopes yet that I know of, it probably will soon. It has made its' way around many tech blogs also. boortz.com led me to this article on : www.telegraph.co.uk; I have always been able to trust the information I find on that site. |
