They already have extra ethanol producing capacity. They just need a market for the product. A market we are not letting them have by placing a .54 cent a gallon tax on their ethanol. Buy the way, sugar cane is about 6 times more efficient for producing ethanol. It would be a far better method of reducing green house gas production than corn based ethanol.
