I've never heard anything so ridiculous, or cruel. I'm sure fish feel pain just like any other creature and to tattoo them just don't seem right to me.

from what I've read (from other sources, not this article), this is not done with a tattoo gun, but rather a low-intensity laser that is supposedly pain-free

i have 3 "tattoo" mollys and they act the same as any other fish in my aquarium i have also read that the tattooing procces is virtually painless. i dont find this cruel at all.
