I heard a variation on this when I was a kid, except it was in WWII occupied Poland, the englishman was a German officer, the Scotsman was a young Polish soldier returning from the collapsed front, Claudia Schiffer was a peasant girl accompanied by her grandmother, who was thinking, "I always knew she'd defend her morals!"
