Torley says:
Menno Ophelia, a Resident of Second Life, made this inspired tribute to one of the greatest rock 'n' roll bands of all time. His Flickr photostream also has tributes to Nirvana and Kraftwerk.

This particular shot was taken in the famous region of Midnight City.

Makes me think about how John Lennon might have used a computer to make music.

So awesome. I'm sure Lennon would have blown our minds.

I actually just stepped into my Second Life for the first time after I stumbled across your blog post the other day Torley (it was fantastic btw) You'll have to give us a tour sometime.

Welcome to Clipmarks!

Thanx Adam for the warm welcome!

I'm enthused to be here, and likewise, welcome to Second Life. What's your name in there? I'm Torley Linden. Lemme know if you need any help, and ohhh if you want a quickstart to cool places to visit, check this out:

It's not comprehensive or anything, just very... easy-access and bite-size. Dare I say, like Clipmarks.

Umm, I don't know how to say this, but I'm basically geeking out that THE Torley is here on clipmarks Fantastic to have you here, and it looks like you're already clipping amazing stuff!

PS, my SL name is Glitchy Commons (although I don't get nearly as much time as I'd like to hang out there!)

Awww thanxies Eric! I'm happy to be here, Clipmarks is so far filling a void in my life that was too stuffy and congested (read: too full of words and not memorable enough) before. I read your profile and I totally concur, I'm just... clicking and clipping! Looking forward to doing this regularly, a day-by-day adventure.

Perhaps I'll see you in Second Life too.

Eclecticism across worlds! T'care.

There must be something wrong with SL search engine. I searched for Torley and EricSkiff with their SL names and it returned an empty page with "no results".

Which one are you trying, Vic?

SL's inworld Search has limitations but you should be able to find me via Search > People tab.

I already used the search/people tab. Now I'm trying again and it keeps saying "none found" (though I unchecked the online box)

Oh, I found EricSkiff by the way; and sent my new creation "Clipmarks Shirt" to his inventory.

Finally Torley, I couldn't find you but I found your awesome experimental place at Second Life, yesterday. It was really cool and I even took my time and played Connect-4. Kudos to you, very nice job.

Oooh cool beans.

Vic, thanx! My place in Montara, yes? I use it for testing purposes... and I just happen to like Connect-4 a lot! I used to totally rule at it but I haven't played in a long time.

I shall have to play you some time Torley. I've just made a draughts/checkers board in SL myself.
