I have my own recipe that is very close to this, and it is really good as this one would be. I've fried walleye, catfish, bluegill, and even venison and it always tastes awesome. If you want to make your own tarter sauce, just chop up some dill pickles into tiny pieces and mix it with a half and half mixture of mayo and ranch dressing (my favorite tarter sauce).
