Wands can be made from a variety of materials, after all Hagrid used an old umbrella as a wand! Yours will be made from paper. The picture below shows the basic steps of the wand making, which are: </SPAN>

1.	Roll the paper into a thin slightly tapered tube, gluing the last third with PVA</SPAN>
<SPAN class="bodyStyleGrey"> </SPAN>
<SPAN class="bodyStyleGrey">
2.	Trim the thin tube to give straight ends</SPAN>
<SPAN class="bodyStyleGrey"> </SPAN>
<SPAN class="bodyStyleGrey">
3.	Fill each end with glue gun glue and make a glue gun pattern on the surface, carefully turning the wand as you gently squeeze the glue out of the glue gun</SPAN>

<SPAN class="bodyStyleGrey">
4.	Spray the wand with spray paint or paint with decorating emulsion or acrylic base coat to seal the paper</SPAN>

5.
