And once in a while, this youngster would be allowed to hold the firearm and aim and shoot it at the parents/ guardians discretion. I used to hunt with my father in situations similar to this and it never occurred to me to mishandle a firearm. His gun was always in the closet and I never touched it without his permission. Several reason I obeyed--he was my father and the gun wasn't mine to handle. Period. Madness |
