I think it's an Ocelot from South America. "The Ocelot (Leopardus pardalis), also known as the Painted Leopard, McKenney's Wildcat, Jaguatirica (in Brazil) or Manigordo (in Costa Rica), is a wild cat distributed over South and Central America and Mexico, but has been reported as far north as Texas and in Trinidad, in the Caribbean" - from Wiki Looks like a photoshopped kitty to me leopard There are several dozen species of small cats that exist in small areas around the world and are not well known. One I can think of offhand is the Iriomote wildcat, which is only found on Iriomote, an island near Okinawa. There's a picture at Wiki which clearly identifies this as an Ocelot. No, it's not photo shopped. Well I think it looks pretty cool. I believe michellezm So do I Skwirl. |
