Yep, Big Pharma twisted enough arms in Congress to get its Medicare drug bill passed, during the wee hours of the night. Prescription drugs are higher in the U.S. than anywhere else in the world. And now Big Pharma is passing more of that cost to Medicare, by not allowing them to negotiate lower prices for the millions of drug prescriptions they purchase annually.
