Thank God the kids didn't die. The bastard's lucky he didn't get attempted murder. I sure as hell wouldn't have given him a plea agreement, but I understand why they did it. Poor kids.

I hope he rots in jail, but I suspect he'll be out before he know it. Sad but true. My birth and step mothers were very neglectful for their own reasons. My birth mother because of paranoid schitzophrenia, and my stepmother because her children came first. When I had my own daughter, I honesly couldn't imagine how anyone could ignore a single child, your own or not. We just had a case in a nearby town that broke my heart, I'll clip it in a sec. Look for it, but have kleenex nearby when you read. I would have adopted this child. I can't have any more kids, yet you have people trying to kill them, and throwing them away. Very sad.
