chedare says: I am a hopeless romantic . Of course the movies are a wonderfull experience for our entertainment but in real life like a garden we need to continue to work on our relationships for them to contiue to bear fruit. In the movies too as in life it doesnt all work out as in the 'The Way we Were" (the chemistry between Redford and Streisand is undeniable), ultimately these differences prove too much for them to overcome. “The final scene gets me every time: Katie and Hubbell run into each other years after they've split. He has a glamorous new woman on his arm. She tells him, wistfully, 'Your girl is lovely, Hubbell.'" The movie "Jeremy". I saw it about 6 times and cried my eyes out every time. Dear tanni were old softie,s , nothing like a few tears to relieve a bit of tension I,m a sentimental bloke too, so shouldn't be denigrating myself here.Oh by the way thanks for your kind comment the other day re my getting told off ,to lift my game re spelling etc on my clips. Summer of 42, I remember well. They Way We Were is a great movie. I love romantic movies too You are so very welcome. Figures...I remember the scene but not the movie; it may have been a television special. I don't think it was "North & South". It was something that revolved around the Civil War (War Between the States) and starred Patrick Swayze. That love scene when he and his beloved finally get together is seared in my memory and I'm not usually into watching hot stuff. He had the most beautiful mouth and boy! could he kiss his girl! (help me if you know the series I'm talking about.) A thanks guys(Mousie, ofcapri, tanni) a touch of romance doesn't go astray even if its not ours we can imagine the emotional drama of the characters. @ jatfla ..Hi Patrick was inseries of "North And South' others of series were books I think. Poor guy is living with cancer at at moment it must be terrible for them.He is actually still working despite his numbered days.I loved his action packed life on the screen #2...Love And War #3...Heaven And Hell ,,civil war series, sorry about delay getting back,,blessings ciao. |
