Apartment living was an important factor for me when looking for a dog earlier this year. I had dog sat a couple of large dogs and although I loved them they took up a lot of space and shed everywhere. In the end I found Max, a miniature Schnauzer who is a compact size yet sturdy enough to play with big dogs and he doesn't shed!
