We all know that a politician is someone with a mic and a will for power and pretty much will say anything to get what he(or she) wants.

Frankly I don't trust any politician anymore. The lack of integrity is astounding(but not really).

I myself being a republican try to see the benefits of a war in iraq. The premise for going in is 3 fold.

When I voted for Bush I KNEW he'd find a way to get back at Sadam. After all he did try to have Bush Sr. assissinated.

That said. There are many good things happening in Iraq. From the second we stepped into Iraq, good things started happening. But the questions that remain are whether or not we really want to try to change people who don't apparently want to be changed. And it's not the millions of iraqi's that are the problem. It's the damned warring factions who care nothing for life. After all, these people did live under Sadam Insane for decades learning and living cruelly.

If you ask me we should have given 3 days warning for all people in Bahgdad to leave. And then dropped a nuke on it.

That would have done two things that the military can't do anymore:

1. Show resolve and intent.
2. Stupid people would have stayed and died because they wouldn't have believed it was going to happen. Even after all the warnings.
3. A large crater and a large amount of death all at once brings even the most stubborn of people to their knees. Complete and total loss is the only way to force humility to a violent fanatic. And I even question my own judgement on that statement.
4. Carpet bombing should be the norm. But in a press driven world, the collective military is cut off at the knees and we end up going into these places playing a politically correct war. Who cares about innocent people when, those supposed innocent are actually helping the enemy. More press time is given to a prison scandal that doesn't matter in the least.
