It nice to hear the mention and acknowledges of the probably hundreds of thousands of Iraqi we've killed, the millions we've made homeless and jobless, the more millions we've turned into refugees who had to flee their homes.

It has always amazed me how a nation where many pride their alleged Christianity, that almost no mention of this is made at all -- it seems their religion is just a mask to wear: They are certainly not "turning the other cheek."

They are certainly not acting with compassion towards the suffering that was the hallmark of Jesus' words.

The self-delusion of alleged 'Christian values,' and blind flag-waving patriotism is something I may never be able to understand.

If I was going to beat a man to death I wouldn't claim my values were to "turn the other cheek."
