rachel923 says: I can't even begin to understand how they do this. She changes dresses within a blink of an eye. Does anyone know how this is done? i don't get it...i'll never get it...it seems totally impossible! I have a few theories but I want to pick my brain up from the floor first. I just watched this the second time and I have to do some frame captures and stills before I can say for sure. WAY impressive. The timing left very little to chance. I've seen them do this act many times with different costumes and they have never once given any clue as to how it's done. Very impressive! I've watched it many times, too. They are incredible. The first one (where she has a long multi colored dress is easy. It is a rip-off layer of clothing that she tears off very quickly and it stays in the vertical hoop of blue material they used to conceal her. Notice they don't show you the hoop afterwards and the guy folds it over to conceal what is inside. You just have to watch very closely. I'll have the rest debunked shortly. You needed 6 days to scrape your scattered brain from the floor to figure this out ,genius? Obviously they are using very light, compressible fabric with velcro, folded in a way that they can easily unfold it within seconds. And I'm sure there are years of training behind them. But how the hell do they change the color of the material in a way that the underlay doesn't illuminate through the subsequent outfit? Especially at the end when they finish with a white dress changed in two seconds under the tinsel rain??? You answer that and I will apologize for being sarcastic of you at the beginning of this comment. I didn't need 6 days to figure it out just 6 days to get time to post another reply. This one took me over a year because I have been away for a long time. LIke I said originally, it's all slight of hand and layered clothing. If you really want to know the answers, look at this person's guide who has video footage of the mistakes they made (albeit very few). The act was very polished and extremely well timed for the most part. I'm just disapointed nobody else posted a reply to this in over a years time. http://home.comcast.net/~x.watermist/Non.html Intriguing is when she changes from the green dress to the purple one while inside the 'shredded drapery' type hoop. Watch the bottom of her green dress not her head. The purple dress drops down over the green. How? Very simple, but I have no clue how!! |
