We worked very hard to have that tan. And after 20 yrs. of playing tennis the difference in the skin texture of face & arms vs my tummy is amazing. I wish I hadn't gone so overboard. I should have worn hats and been more responsible. Even now I don't wear sunscreen or lotions. My understanding is that the damage done years ago is what results in the skin cancers of today. Plus people are so much more aware and doctors do preventive procedures now. I went with my SIL to the dermatologist and the office was packed with people with little round bandaids all over their faces. Thanks for all the comments.
