I think that this guy should be injured and fed to some very big hungry cats, oh like maybe tigers or lions. Never one to wish harm on anyone, I cannot help myself when it comes to animals.

My mom always used to tell us to be wary of people who are indifferent or cruel to animals. She maintained that if they are incapable of kindness to the 'least' and easiest of God's creatures to love, there's no way in hell they'll be kind to other humans. I agree. When it comes to animals and children, I am rabid in their defence. Man, you have to have a heart of stone to feed a kitten to a pit bull!

This person is extremely psychically turbid; but what about army of cold bladed scientists and their daily vivisection “works” on kittens and similar animals...? Isn’t this even more horrible?

My issue is that he took 'neighborhood cats and kittens'. That seems to indicate that they belonged to someone other than himself.

Personally, his behavior is disgusting and sick. I would not want him near me or mine. But is it criminal? What about rats bought to feed pythons? or crickets to feed pet turtles or in my case, snails fed to my fish?

Isn't the issue what are traditionally our pets verses the rest of the animal kingdom?

All that being said, couldn't he afford Purina for his dog or left-over table scraps? Perhaps he was high on that marijuana and was minus any natural affections. What a pitiful story.

He was high on blood. He was a deranged and abnormal individual. People who kill other's pets have absolutely no respect for others' property or life. Put him in a cell next to Vicks.
