I don't like cigarette smoke, but this is away over the top.

Even my grandparents refuse to smoke indoors. It really ruins the house, and stinks it up for your guests. These people should grow up.

Socratoad is right.This is over the top. it is their house , they have the right to smoke in there.

Did you even read the article? The reason they were banned from smoking was because when they did it inside--since it's a townhouse--they were smoking so much the smoke seeped into the neighbors side. I agree, they should keep smoking outside instead of slowly murdering their neighbors.

So, what next? You won't be allowed to burn popcorn in your own apartment? If it offends your neighbor of course. Maybe the builders of these cheapo apartments should be questioned as to the crummy seal. Bet the rent aint cheap.

Well , if it bothers the neighbors then they should agree on some sort of a solution. Forcing them to go outside to smoke is unacceptable.
