Posted as a counterpoint to the ignorant folks who automatically cried "illegal immigrant poor" when this child's story first broke. We're all in this together, and the Mexican people are not a collective bunch of illiterate peasants as many Americans would like to label them. As the wife of a Hispanic whose grandmother was a Mexican citizen, it's a sore spot for me.
