thisnamecantbetaken says: Present CO2 levels highest in 640,000 years. Oceans worldwide show drop in phytoplankton levels. A 9 year study shows the whole marine food chain is hurting. I suspect we will be seeing more and more about global warming over the next few years. It's obviously not going to get better before it gets worse. No, I think would be an overoptimistic hope. And from what I've been reading, scientists are startled at how fast things are changing for the worse. Even THEY are shocked. It's speeding up and escalating. Things are definitely never gonna be the same again. Wildlife is disappearing at an alarming rate now. It's just so sad we're destroying everything. Pollution, climate change overpopulation etc etc. Humans have definitely not been kind to mother Earth, that's for sure. Even if we could totally stop for all CO2 emissions right now, a lot of the damaged has already been done. It's just a crying shame. |
