I was rear ended by a texting driver on cruise control at 75 mph last year. I was stopped in traffic. Good thing I was in a 3/4 ton pickup. Good thing he didn't have a passenger. The right side of his Mustang went under my truck and emerged with nothing higher than 2 ft off the ground. Knocked my left wheel off, broke the axle, drove the rear end about 3 feet foward, snapped the left main spring, and snapped the drive shaft.

My lawyer is putting the finishing touches on a nice legal action that should have about the same impact on his life.
