Wow! 1934 the hottest day on record. Wasn't that before we started building all of these factories and cars and whatnot. If I'm not mistaken, that was during the depression when money was scarce and not many people were hiring. So therefore, many couldn't afford gas then neither; thus less CO2 and whatnot in the atmosphere--or so we thought.
