Every week at <A href="http://twitter.com/a2b3">a2b3</A> I ask a question of everyone at the table.  I usually make them up on the spot, sometimes they're good, sometimes they're meh.  Usually when they are meh the people as they go around the table mutate the question until it's less meh.

Some of these might be useful for you as "icebreaker" sorts of questions, though I'd note that they are less about breaking the ice and more about giving a tiny bit of randomness to what would otherwise be sometimes a formulaic personal self-introduction.
