I'm a patient and calm man as a rule, but packaging generally and these in particular really get me going... For the elderly they are just cruel - completely ridiculous and unnecessary - I'll be glad to see the back of them. Cut the edge with kitchen scissors. And don't hesitate to return, usually there is attractive BS, designed to prevent you with psychological guilt of destroying package. I'm very surprised that we haven't heard about lawsuits stemming from this (it's certainly as valid a concern as Mcdonald's "hot coffee"). Perhaps there have been quite a few and that's what's prompting the change, but hopefully it's just common sense. You can deter theft without making things impossible for your paying customers to open. |
