Most people have good hearts and are fearful of what direction they think the government is headed, and rightly so. They should always question the government’s motives but they should also question their sources of information. One of the biggest dangers of any democratic society is to follow unquestioningly what you are told by the mainstream media. Especially a corporate controlled media that embraces bias and plays on your fears to get your attention. The author mentions many things these people are either against or fearful of. I am given the impression that these people are against them simply because they are perceived to be democratic principles. The truth is many of these things were started under a Republican administration. Some of these things fall directly onto Barack Obama. First of all, let’s stop this rant about ‘communist czars in the government’. The term ‘czar’ (I hate this term because people always misinterpret it) is slang for someone with lots of power who reports directly to the president instead of his chief of staff. This term was first used by Nixon in 1973 when he appointed John Arthur Love as “Energy Czar”. A czar in the U.S. government is not a communist. The author says “This crowd seemed utterly disillusioned with the entire batch of politicians available”. And rightly so, on both sides of the aisle. They are NOT the ten commandments. I agree this nation needs to get back to what are considered to be ‘Christian principles’ but there are Christians doing some very un-Christian like things. So how about practicing what you preach? It has to start with every individual, don’t be selective about it, do it for yourselves as well as for the country. We are all Americans here. As far as candidates for office goes, you need to look a lot deeper into these people’s track record and not just depend on MSM sound bites.
