Under your CM settings, at the very, very top, there is "Mature Content Filter" you can choose, to filter out clips automatically, that are marked as mature. An *M* appears on the clip They will no longer show up in your version of the clip lists. Check that box, to apply the filter.

The above clipper should have marked his clips *M*, coz then people can choose not to see them, even if they don't have the filter on and be forewarned, but of course he has to mark them for it to work. Whose responsibility is it as to what your kids see? The rest of the world or yours? Seems your looking down the wrong end of the telescope here. Why do they have access to your computer when you aren't there to supervise what they see? If they're old enough to be ranging around on the 'net on their own, you better have had a talk with them about what you feel is appropriate for them to view, and what to do if they see something which isn't. Still, after all that, better they know what they're seeing than being wide-eyed in amazement.

I'm not defending the notion of Clipmarks becoming a repository of sexual images, only pointing out that the Internet is a reflection of the real adult world. Expect nothing less. The fact that the porn clips don't get popped speaks to the general community standard as determined by the community.

Personally I find all the spam of "Download this movie or that TV show here" to be even more offensive than just some sex pictures, and potentially those sites are far more dangerous on a computational tricks level. Why aren't you bitching about them? I'm sure they have just as much interest in poking around looking for a free movie as some tiny crappy shot of a BJ.

And although i don't like spam period, i am not too worried about my kids seeing a link that they prob won't follow, and i'm am not distressed about a woman being forced to do something against her will, and then having it broadcast all over the world.

As far as parents are concerned, it's insane to hold them responsible for what their children might find on the internet. To do that, they would have to police their children 24/7 and we do not live in a world that allows them to do that.
