MADISON, Wis. -- Students have packed a University of Wisconsin-Madison career fair Thursday afternoon, but they're not looking for a job. They're protesting Halliburton's presence at the event.

The students sat in front of the company's booth, singing anti-war songs and virtually blocking access to the company's four recruiters.

The Campus Antiwar Network is accusing Halliburton of profiting from war. Halliburton's former subsidiary, KBR, had large contracts to aid the U.S. military in Iraq. The two became separate companies earlier this year.

Some of the students attending the career fair were clearly annoyed by the disruption. Student Renee Miller stepped through sitting protesters after meeting with a Halliburton recruiter. Miller said that she's just trying to get her resume out there and get a job.
