Sigh . . .
If you could pick, what would you choose? To go young and healthy? To be in a nursing home with a failing body and in pain? Heart disease? Cancer? Suicide?
All I can say is that I've had a near drowning and it was the most peaceful way to die imaginable. No suffering. But I'm glad I survived it, I'm glad I know what I know and I'm glad I had a marriage and two beautiful daughters who wouldn't have had their life without me. This particular woman's character amazes me. We all think we can make our own reality, when in fact we are in control of very little in our lives. I explained to them not to be afraid, that drowning was the most peaceful thing anyone could ever experience! Of course they looked at me like I was crazy.
There was no tunnel for me either Zasel and no light at all, just a loving darkness. I didn't understand it for years until we got the internet and I started doing research on it and found out that children often experience the "lovi...
