So there the pope dope stands in all his high and mighty majesty, bowing to the monied thugs of Monsanto. That's sadly fucking hilarious.

Genetic modification of food crops is not only used to produce a heavier yield (at the expense of nutrition) it is being used to produces sterile seeds so farmers have to keep buying new seeds year after year. No more collecting seeds to grow your own, it is becoming contractually illegal. By forcing crops to grow faster natural flavoring and nutrition are not able to develop.

Also, Monsanto has been developing seed that will only respond to their own fertilizer recipe. This is the only kind of ‘sustainability’ that interests Monsanto.

Apparently Monsanto is a huge contributor to the church.

We have decimated what god gave us and now god's mouthpieces are saying "good job".

Doomed comes to mind.

It seems like all religions are going Hell.

Seeds should not be genetically engineered to provide better crop yields if it causes all future seeds to become sterile.
People should not be able to be sued for patent infringement if their crops become cross-pollinated with Monsanto seed.
