This is a reclip of an older clip that Invictus made. His original exceeded the current clip limit so I couldn't revive it.

Refresher everyone.

If only I could force everyone to read this! The worst thing is that now it's common to find grammatical and spelling errors in commercial websites and professionally printed materials. This drives me crazy!

I can tell you that when I'm typing fast or my mind is thinking ahead of my fingers on the keyboard, there are times that I use the wrong word.

My mind knows which is which and how to use it but I haven't figured out how or why my fingers translate the wrong one. I've noticed this for a couple of years and have been blaming it on age. :{

Nonetheless, it too drives me nuts and I always want to edit edit edit. (whether my own or other peeps).

ciao!

Actually, there is one more thing that drives me crazy: The silly Internet/SMS abbreviations.

I don't like seeing people write: "How r u?" or even worse, "It's 2 l8."

Cliches like "lol" or "brb" are understandable but these silly baby talk stuff is killing the language and communication.

I agree, Invictus. I think it's going to stick around, but I don't like it.

I agree as well invictus, the written word is suffering more and more each day.

And I can't stand "l33t" speak either.

One of my hobbies is online gaming and I am constantly bombarded with "r u ok?", "pls hlp meh" and "thx 4 ur hlp."

Ugh.
