Though he apologized within days of his original blog post, writing on the same Washington Post blog - "On Faith," where he had originally been asked to write about Jewish identity - that he did "not believe and should not have implied that the policies of the Israeli government are reflective of the views of all Jewish people," anger at his words apparently remained.
Truth loses again.

"I think it's shameful that a peace institute would be headed up by a bigot," said Abraham H. Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League, an international group that opposes anti-Semitism. "One would hope that the grandson of such an illustrious human being would be more sensitive to Jewish history."

Of course I was in no way supporting Foxman's bigotry, but in hindsight, covering my ass might have been prudent.

How ironic that the head of the so called 'Anti-Defamation League' (ADL) would make such a declamatory statement.

Jews portray themselves as the ultimate victims.
Up until 20 years ago,we Irish were big with the begging bowl, so I feel qualified to comment on professional victims. The Vamaine and oppressive British rule should have good for another 100 years. Winging and whining isn't a very attractive human characteristics, particularly with the Irish when so much about us is admired.

So with a deal of help from the EU and Germany in particular...

Actually I wondered if you had some strategy in mind that I just didn't understand
I prefer to lead a little and the reader discover their truth. Much more effective if the reader has ownership of the idea. Sometimes I forget this. You're right to check or else we would not now be discoursing.

No cause was ever won without martyrs. Oppressors can always be relied upon to create them. The 'Anti-Defamation League' (ADL) stupidity in their response feeds the oppressed as the truth is so easily seen.

Not the first either that they ran foul of a Gandhi. And this might explain the ADL's over the top response.

. The Palestinians never did anything bad to the Jews and in fact Arabs in general had mostly been very helpful for centuries to Jews at the times they fled from place to place, and then some European Jews decided to steal their land and it was manipulated by them with willing enabling from some of the European and American powers.
With the help of states wanting clear of this white Jews. The Middle East was a convenient dumping ground after WW2 and closer than Africa.

Perhaps I will make a clip linking the first Gandhi's essay written in the mid 30's I believe it was.
Go for it or else my policy fails. ha ha. See my letter from Freud. The truth will out.
