This is really neat, and also kind of funny. Can you imagine the giant rolls of tape?

As a photographer I've worked in darkrooms for over thirty years. I've peeled many a piece of tape off of film. Now, any darkroom tech worth their salt can tell you: peel tape very slowly, because if you peel it fast, it exposes little tiny lightning bolts of "fog" onto the film right where you tore off the tape. In fact, in total darkness you can see the tiny sparks fly when you peel tape. This is not news to us!
