I think it may have been scripted only because of the little girls part ( I can tell when chicks are fakin' it ) The little boy was all real though. Children really are innocent. My mother tells me, because I barely remember myself, about taking me into the city for the first time when I was almost 5. We lived in a very conservative small town with absolutely no Black people whatsoever. I had never seen a Black person. Back then, they had just started putting mechanical Christmas scenes in store windows. To children, it was the real thing. We were just starting down the street when I saw him. Santa setting in his sleigh and the elves loading it up with toys, all in motion and singing...

I broke away from Mom and at the same moment, 4 little Black kids broke away from their Mom coming from the other direction. The 5 of us stood at the window, screaming and pointing and talking a mile a minute to each other. I never saw Black and they never saw White. And thats a story my dear Mother related to myself and others throughout her life. Bless her heart.
