A scarf at mcdonalds is like a cape on a superhero. It seems like a good idea on the drawing board, but it just leads to trouble.

But... the folks in the boardroom are proud of themselves! They afforded their employees respect in a way that didn't cost them too much money. After all, uniforms DO have to be replaced sometime, so here's a way to pay some free lip-service to the team. I mean... god did forbid that everybody across the board get a $2/hr raise as recognition of the value of their efforts. Everybody knows people apply to work at an establishment based upon the fashionable uniforms they wear, not the economic value it brings to their lives.
