Great glimpses on this guy's free-flowing commentary,...gives insight into the cultural sense, feeling, outlook, etc., of the time. Interesting to see similarities to today, as well as what was risque' at the time, what has changed,etc. Like a behind the scenes realistic peek, nostalgic yet educational. I never knew of this guy or was of any age to even be aware of any real cultural aspects of the time. I just find this very interesting. Goes from '50's thru 70's.

This is good stuff. The fresh, "real-time" critique of the new explosion of adults watching "fairy tales" and escaping into such things as I Dream of Jeannie, Beverly Hillbillies, Mr.Ed, etc.
The "increasing" habit - at the time - of advertisers calling every product NEW, or IMPROVED. All with fresh revelation.
I like this stuff.
