BTW, possibly related: scientists have recently confirmed that goldfish can remember and distinguish between different pieces of music and composers. I wonder whether a person with refined taste would be able to distinguish between eating a goldfish raised on Beethoven and one raised on Schubert? I believe the person would have to have very refined taste. No wrapping this little delicacy in the daily fish-wrap and serving it with salt and vinegar and a side of mushy peas.
