I hate to say this but I thinks it's true, but these countries in NATO that have given so much support to the USA are not as appreciated as they should be and their interests are not considered as important as U.S. interest.

So...as I understand the reasoning, if Georgia is in NATO and then we claim that Russia has attacked Georgia one day then that automatically means Canada, the Netherlands, the UK and many others -- with the USA blowing the trumpet -- all automatically mobilize and start World War III, because of their NATO treaty obligations.

Not even needing a vote by a Parliament or Congress? -- the world launching into war because of NATO Treaty Obligations?

I don't think it's such a good idea. It sounds like how World War I got started, one 'terrorist attack,', one guy throws a bomb into a car, an Archduke is killed, Germany has treaty obligations to make a move. Russia makes a counter-move. France has to also go along with the pre-arranged deal, etc, etc. and what...

And this guy with the bomb? Was he a one lone nut? Was he part of a radical group? Was he associated with a political party? Was he a member of a nation's military or perhaps a covert agent?

It's setting up a dangerous situation.
